A) Log in to www.linkedIn.com  or your personal site (http://www.linkedin.com/in/keithlward)

2) Go to PROFILE,
3) Then start your research of prospects in those cities & states that you are targeting, page by page.
4) Upon locating someone in your desired area,click on their photo / name
5) Add them as an associate by clicking "INVITE TO MY NETWORK"
6) Scroll their page to determine whether there is a telephone #...

7) Communicate with that prospect by sending a "LinkedIn e-mail" 
Example -
SUBJECT: (Create a subject that appeals to you) EXPANSION IN YOUR AREA 
"Natalie,
Hello !
I have been commissioned by my company to spearhead our expansion into your area.
We are seeking business referrals and business associates.
.Can you call me @ ____(your #)______ or send a number & best time where you can be reached for 2-3 minutes".

8) You must be willing to CALL &  "INVITE" / set app't.w/prospect to the Youngevity Daily Blitz Call
 or other method of STP (Showing The Plan).
9) When you CALL, be prepared to have a very well rehearsed "5-second Commercial"!
This is crucial to your success!!!

Example - "Hello Joe,you do not know me, but I saw your profile on (whatever site).
You are familiar with (whatever site,) I've been commissioned by my company to spearhead our expansion into your area..We're seeking business referrals and business associates. 
Today or tomorrow, when might you have 15-20 minutes, over the phone, @ 1 PM EST, 4, 7 or 9:30 so that I can run our business idea past you? 

10) Set appointment & get off the phone - UNLESS THEY HAVE TIME TO TALK IMMEDIATELY!
Then "EXPOSE & CLOSE". 
11) There are over 150 million people listed on LinkedIn.

* You can post "EVENTS" & "BLOGS" or create "GROUPS".

* NEVER discard your contacted prospects, but continue to periodically "FOLLOW UP & FOLLOW THROUGH" (check with them ever 3-6 months).

* IF OPENING NEW MARKETS, start your prospecting 1-2 weeks prior to the desired event in the desired area

* Don't "fall in love w/your prospects"...

* Most importantly, make sure that your "Rap Is On Tap!" & you represent Youngevity & yourself   in an admirable manner.

* If you do a e-mail blast through LinkedIn, make it few & far in between...I find the personal touch, via a phone call, works best to establish rapport.

* You're not looking for friends, but biz associates.The more $$$ you make for them & w/them, the better friends you will become..
